Johnelle Simpson focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury, probate litigation, guardianships/conservatorships, business and commercial litigation, real estate litigation, and general civil litigation. Johnelle is also accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs and provides veterans with responsible and qualified representation on their VA benefits claims.
Johnelle is a native of Donalsonville, GA. He attended the University of Georgia where he served as Student Body President. Prior to attending law school, he worked with Athens Area schools, businesses, and local officials in developing and administering workforce development programs and initiatives. Johnelle serves on the boards of Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center, the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce (Chair-Elect), the Rotary Club of Athens, Georgia 4-H Foundation, Lydia’s Place (Vice President), and the Athens-Clarke County Hearings Board (Vice Chair).
Johnelle is a recipient of the University of Georgia’s 40 under 40 Award and the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce Top 10 under 40 Game Changers Award. He has also participated in LEAD Athens and the Athens-Clarke County Citizens Government Academy. Outside of work, Johnelle enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling, playing tennis, and learning the art of golf.
